Fishery - Fishing Types: Game
The Corbet Lough is a 70 acre stillwater fishery located on the A50 Banbridge to Castlewellan road approximately 3 miles from Banbridge, Co Down. It has a scenic setting amongst the Bann valley drumlins and against the backdrop of the famous Mourne Mountains. It is primarily a Rainbow Trout fishery but it also contains a number of stocked Brown Trout with many overwintered fish. The facilities at Corbet Lough are excellent with on site car parking, public toilets, easy bank access, three fishing stands for anglers with a disability and two timber shelters in close proximity to the fishing stands. There are six McA fly fishing boats, a wheelyboat, electric engines and life jackets. The Boat Attendants’ Office sells a small selection of soft drinks and confectionery. More substantial meals may be purchased at the nearby Anglers Rest Bar and Bistro.
