Access to angling

BDAA have over the years raised funds to produce booklets on how to improve fisheries access and facilities to help disabled people enjoy fishing alongside their non disabled friends. The first book was produced back in 1999 followed by 2008 then now the ultimate advice on how to improve your fishery known as Access to angling:best practice guidance. In conjunction with Centre of Accessible Environments supported by Robson Green, Sports and Governments bodies the new guidance can help you clubs and fisheries, parks etc improve the angling environment to a multitude of impairments. We raised £6k of our own funding, £2.5k from Clos-o-mat for hard printing and £5k from the Environment agency to produce a document.

The book is FREE to download in order to spread the word on how to increase access and facilities.
