BDAA began working with the Stroke association in Crewe helping its adult stroke survivors to either try fishing for the first time or return to fishing after a Stroke. Border fisheries near Nantwich and Crewe hosted the event on one other many pools, Dreamstore provided finding for a port-a-loo toilet in order that people only had a short walk to nearby toilet facilities.

The head of the Branch commented how positive the experience had been, so many respondents that they wanted to set up a club within their branch to add an extra activity.
